I remember when this song was first released and I hated it for whatever reason. I still went out and bought the CD during I think its first week of being on sale; needless to say, the song quickly grew on me as I loved the album on first listen.

I think this was the winner for me when they played it last night. The album is brilliant.

I’ve been listening to this album on repeat in my car for a few days now. Survive came on when I really needed it to and reminded me why it’s my all time favorite song. The first two fucking lines completely take ahold of me and stand out to me whenever I need them too and the bridge is the most powerful thing in the entire world. And Roadside, FUCK I haven’t heard this song in forever. I forgot how beautiful and different than everything else it is. That and The Approaching Curve, which is so unbearably well written that it shakes me.
This album is a fucking masterpiece.

spent the day in Smithtown at a Masonic temple with As Days Fade who ended up headlining after two bands dropped, played a sick set as usual \m/
Another band that played today was Palmyra who I saw before in Brooklyn; they are ridiculous too so check both bands out.
As Days Fade are playing a show in Jamaica, Queens next month with The Agonist and Spineshank so that’s gonna be amazing.
So, after tonight
I can already tell Exotic Animal Petting Zoo will quickly become one of my favorites. I gotta listen to their album tomorrow so I can get hyped for the forthcoming one.

I’ve never even listened to a song by either of these bands, nor the openers, but I love being introduced to bands at shows and I’ve heard a lot about those two. This should be cool!
